Evans Otieno

Chairperson

Mr. Evans Otieno boasts of over five years working field experience with the community having started off as a volunteer peer educator with YMEP in 2005/07 and later Aphia II Nyanza. In 2008, he joined the Impact RDO’s Tuungane Youth Project as a Cluster Coordinator in-charge of Muhoroni Division rising through the ranks to the position of the District Field Officer in-charge of the greater Nyando District and later Rongo and Homa Bay Districts.

Mr. Otieno who is a professional counselor is currently pursuing his degree in Business Administration at the Maseno University and holds a Diploma in Procurement from the University of Nairobi. He currently works with the Catholic Medical Mission Board as a program officer under GF10 in-charge of Migori County.



Alice Abuya

Member

Holds a Masters Degree in Community Health from Maseno University, Ms. Abuya is well endowed and brings in a wealth of experience on community health having extensively worked and researched on her area of expertise.

She currently consults for World Bank on a project that is aimed at scaling the health care provision across the 47 Counties.

Sarah Odero

Member

Ms Sarah holds a bachelor of Arts degree in Community Development from Moi University, an inspirational leader and team builder. Currently working with Catholic Medical Mission board(C.M.M.B) as a Field Officer based in Gem District.

Fredrick Ochieng

MEMBER

Currently pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Education at the Maseno University, Mr. Ambani has extensively worked towards Promoting Justice to the Victims of Police Shootings during the 2007/8 Post Election Violence in Kenya. Currently attached to CAVi (Coalition Against Violence); an NGO based in Kisumu as a Project Officer.

James Onunga

MEMBER

Hold a Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Nairobi, Mr. Onunga has worked with the Kenya Prisons Service for the past 23 years rising through the ranks and positions.

Owino Aol

MEMBER

A Governance, Human Rights defender and a believer in social justice, Mr. Daniel O. Aol brings in a wealth of experience on Human Rights Advocacy and Governance programs having worked in that field for the last seven years. First horned his skills as a volunteer District Social Mobilizer in Nyando working under WAFNET (Women Action Forum for Networking); an NGO based in Kisumu, Mr. Aol got an opportunity to widen his knowledge on the understanding and application of the basic law when he successfully went through a short training course on Paralegal.

He has ever since worked and partnered with a host of Human Rights based Organizations on different capacities amongst them LRF, CSO-Network, RPP-Trust amongst others. In 2010, Mr. Aol was among the founder members of God Abuoro for Change Youth Group (YOUCHA); a small youth group based in Chemelil that extensively engaged in peace activities across the bordering areas of Muhoroni and Nandi Districts. He holds a Diploma in Community Development from Kisumu Polytechnic.
